The Tomahawk™ is a slim diameter shaft, engineered for the accuracy and extreme durability required by Aussie bow-hunters.

The .204 ID (5.2mm) Tomahawk shaft offers significant advantages over standard diameter .2445 ID (6.2mm) shafts due to the thinner diameter:

  • a thicker carbon wall that is much stronger.
  • less drag for a flatter trajectory.
  • better target penetration.
  • ability to use an optional outsert system (250, 275 and 300 spines only in the .003 shaft).

Every pack of Tomahawk ™ .003 shafts has superior spine consistency, allowing tack-driving accuracy when used with quality broadheads.

      Sold in a 12-pack.

      HALF-OUT INSTALLATION TIPS

Install Half-outs with any reputable 24 hr set epoxy adhesive.
We prefer AAE Epoxy for all insert, half-out and outsert installation.

If a Loctite adhesive is used, it MUST be an impact resistant formula.
Beware! Cyanoacrylate adhesives set fast - you have limited time to move the half-out into place when installing in the carbon shaft. DRY TEST FIT PRIOR!

Don't skimp on the prep! Ensure both the half-out AND the carbon shaft have be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol.
Don't use methylated spirits, mineral turpentine, brake cleaner, rubbing alcohol or Shellite.

Don't soak the arrow shaft in the isopropyl for an extended period of time - a small amount of isopropyl on a cotton tip is all that is required to clean the internal surface of the shaft.

Use a dry cotton tip to remove any alcohol that has not evaporated. A clean cotton rag and a little isopropyl will sufficiently clean the post of the insert.

Clean both shaft and half-out until any factory residue is removed, and you won't go wrong.

      Near indestructible

The rating I would give is definitely 5 star mate. I have been recommending the Tomahawks to quite a few guys. They are near indestructible. In fact all of the Evolusion arrows I've bought have been incredibly tough.

Totally impressed with their performance and accuracy

I have been testing the Evolusion tomahawk .003 Shafts over the last three months getting ready for 2021 Red Deer roar in Queensland. I have been totally impressed with their performance and accuracy of these arrows and they will be in my quiver on the roar. Pics taken at Western Plains Archer club in WA from 50 and 60 metres.
